With the Federal Marshall's Help
When federal inmates are moved to our jail to await their sentencing,THEY look US up. That's right, they look us up. It seems that a U. S. Marshal heard us speak at his church and then as he was transporting prisoners, he would ask if they know us. As testimony after testimony would roll in, about the Bible studies and the Christian work happening, the marshals decided it would help the prisoners to tell them to find us. And, praise the Lord, IT DOES! So many have taken their suggestions and started visiting with us.…
One inmate in a New Jersey federal prison had been flown into Akron to the district judge there for a change of sentence. He saw another fed wearing a familiar navy blue uniform with Medina County Jail written down the side of the pants. "Hey man, do you know Larry and Sue Jarvis?" he asked. "Yeah man, they are like parents to me!"
In Morgantown, W. Va. at the federal camp there, we now have an awesome group of about eight men who live for the Lord. In a visit down there this spring, we were overjoyed to hear of their work for the Kingdom among fellow inmates. In fact, as we sat in the visiting lobby men would pass by our friend and say, "Hi Rev!" to him because he is their spiritual mentor.
These wonderful events happen due to a little influence in high places. Heavenly help in answer to prayers and government help in getting our little flock together. God is so Good.
